Duodecimo pretty blindstamped red pebbled cloth with fancy gilt title to cover (tips rubbed) 63p Preface says that he is testing the response of this first book of his poems as he is in "reduced circumstances and partly blind" this small work is all he can afford. This is a scarce Provincial Imprint being a naval port there are several poems on naval themes but the first in the book and longest by far is "The Runaway Slave".
