Description
Small quarto laid paper fac-simile 12pp. Starting to split along spine and a horizontal fold, carefully repaired with matching tissue, some foxing throughout. The cover says Monday July 8, 1723 To be continued Weekly, and it advertizes the printing work which is also available including Advertisements, Summons, Subpoenas, Funeral-Tickets &c. *19th century fac-simile of the first issue of an early provincial newspaper, which continued with slight name changes but always keeping the Mercury part of the title until 1979.
