Square octavo red cloth (clean unmarked) lacks front free endpaper 88pp clean & crisp throughout. *Includes four "moving pictures" in the form of two black-and-white illustrations at the outer edge of each page, labeled Films 1-4 (1 and 2 on recto, 3 and 4 on verso) with instructions on back of Contents page: "To 'work' Films 1 and 2, hold the book in the left hand and flick over the pages with the right thumb; for Films 3 and 4 use the opposite hands".
