Description	Octavo blue cloth, spine decorated in gilt with gilt titling (tips worn/slightly marked) Top edge gilt. Frontis + 451pp endpapers with minor pale foxing and name (E.G. Gregson 26.3.39) to free endpaper. One blank corner with 1cm torn off and one opening where a strip was laid in that has left a tan mark. The book is otherwise clean and tight with no underlining or other marks. *One of the most successful of Dickens' works it had the whole nation weeping for the death of Little Nell when it was first published.
