Octavo rose pictorial cloth (edges & spine faded/cloth chipped to head & foot of spine & lower hinge with vents) 158pp+advert leaf for a new book by Keiro. Label put over an inscription to pastedown. Some signs of use and two leaves carelessly opened with marginal loss not anywhere near printed area. *Stephenson was a turn of the century writer and practitoner of palmistry and clairvoyance. A member of the Psychical Research Society which was formed in 1882 and is still going strong today he thus would have had a good "insight" into the thoughts of his cat!
