Titlepage and 3 Preface pages as well as last gathering, strengthened to gutter margin and reinserted when resewn. Some other signs of use with 3 short tears not affecting print and including Ownership of Fr.Wiegand 1867 & Gunther 1912 to flyleaf and small ink U to blank area of titlepage. Tight copy with the Ludwig Richter plates and text illustrations.
