Octavo blue cloth pictorially gilt & blindstamped (rather worn tips rubbed spine starting to split) All Edges Gilt 194pp. Inscription on fly leaf "Margaret Browne with the love of the Good-Natured Giant and Attatattadatta" (probably by the Author). Paper bit tanned and some fingermarks, one page edge-repaired. *Adventures of the giant with two children (Master Frederick Gilbert and Miss Leila Fairford) in Switzerland, Califonia and England. The ending of the book is "the little dog had disappeared with its long-lost mistress Atta-tatta-datta" (see inscription above). A delightful well-illustrated story, scarce, not in Osborne Collection.
