Inscriptions to fly leaves, endpapers and blank side of the frontis (showing through to margin of the illstration) Polly Simpson, New Moor, Walworth & Ivy House, Darlington. Also Ralph Fortune, Walworth Moor House 1822 on titlepage. *Darton bibliography G500(3) says same as first edition, except that due to comments on 2nd of the two tales originally titled "The Ghost" being unsuited to all children, in this edition its name was changed to "The Spectre".
