The mouse is primarily interested in the food and drink and has made a glutton of himself and fallen asleep. As the final speeches are begun the party is interrupted by the CAT so everyone leaves in a hurry except for the mouse, who is too drunk to move. He pays the penalty for his behaviour and becomes the meal for the cat's family. Amusingly illustrated by Foster to every opening.
