Slight pale foxing to a few leaves here and there. A nice and clean copy with no loose pages or marks. *Story of two sisters who cannot forgive their stepmother for trying to take the place of their loved dead mother. And the theft of diamonds by the fiance of one of the girls, the suspicion of the mother and father that drives a wedge between their love. This is one of the scarcer titles of the prolific author of girl's stories, Elizabeth Thomasina Meade Smith.
