Small octavo ochre cloth gilt (tips worn/spine slightly snagged but neat and sound) (ii)+121pp Lacks map. Neat miniscule inscription on margin of TP dated 1885 some finger-marks but photographs in good condition. With later bookplate on FEP. The use of actual photos to illustrate books was costly and used for only a relatively short time in book production.
