Narrow quarto cloth spined card covers with peep hole to cover through to next page which is hinged at fore-edge to open outwards but is often found detached or lost [28]pp. Coffee-colour stain to cover and first two leaves but not detractring from the illustrations. *Published by the Society for Protection of Birds and each month has information on different birds on two pages while inside of lower cover has observation charts. This is not a calander of dates but the yearly cycle of bird life arranged in chapters by months. German text in Gothic script with decorative initials printed in red.
