AND FURTHER, Chapt.CXIII of 24 June 1824, an extensive enactment (41pgs) which made detailed provision for the treatment of slaves from captured slave-ships, in foreign & British ports or colonies, the "valuation" of slaves and a "bounty" to be paid upon seizure of slavers, and set out a number of International Treaties with Portugal, Spain & The Netherlands for regulating the slave trade.
