Quarto fine tooled English contemporary calf double border and concentric panels (lacking ties/front cover nearly detached/corners very worn & lower corner needs restoring/head and foot of spine with some chipping) TP +(10p)+888p+)20pp=index) hand-drawn coat of arms on pastedown and back of TP with another name dated 1787 which has been partly crossed out. Minor damp marks to gutter margin of first few gatherings. Single marginal worm hole to fore-edge. Early chapters have some underlining (neat) and a few other marks throughout. A neat copy in a nice English binding of the time.
