Engraved Title + Titlepage with printer's mark +[4]pp to reader + 192pp. Name Ric. Furney dated 1706 and another name hard to read on titlepage, some neat marginal notes to text. Endpapers with extensive very neat pencil notes on Owen by Fredk. G. Gurney. *This Welsh writer of epigrams was known as the British Martial. As a Protestant Owen turned his wit against Catholics which resulted in his epigrams being put on the Index of Prohibited Books.
