Small octavo near contemporary marbled leather on 4 raised bands, covers gilt ruled with corner fleurettes, newer red gilt spine title label (rebacked with old spine relaid/recornered to tips) All Edges Gilt. Frontispiece + titlepage printed in red and black +[22]pp prelims +423pp. Inner hinges neatly repaired. Two line of Latin to fly leaf +ownership of 4 members of Longe family and G. Sparke, Risby 1748 to blank before frontis. Titlepage with crossed out name to upper corners and C-J to lower margin (WING H2834). *Meditation and introspection for a Christian life in order to reflect and seriously plan a Godly and good life with Horneck's advice and guidance. A very clean handsome early edition.
