Octavo original beige spine and blue sugarpaper covered boards with original yellow title label pasted on (some marks on boards, tips bumped, hinges spliting but held by cords). Frontis + [4pp including title + To the Public] + 4pp of text + [23] leaves of plates + 9-104pp.This pagination jump from page 4 to page 9 seems to be as issued in the third edition [Cambridge Univeresity] Plates and text pages very lightly foxed, pencil inscription J.P. Read on front free endpaper, rear endpapers with 2 inches torn off foot.
