Gilt reverses & dentelles (spine leather slightly sunned) All Edges Gilt. Frontispiece & pictorial titlepage in red and black + [xvi] title & prelims + 546pp +[1]p publisher's advert. All text pages within red ruled frame. Inscription to fly leaf presenting this copy to "The Archdeacon with best wishes from the General & the Bird" Christmas 1886" otherwise no annotations, no loose pages or signs of use. *A beautifully clean copy in fine binding gilt.
