Blank leaf, frontispiece, titlepage +[4]pp (dedication to Charles II, to reader & errata), 1-30, 33-70, 73-144, 149-300, 317-368pp +1-16, 13-100, 105-144, 149-258, 257, 262-354, 1-232, +[4]pp halftitle THE PRINCIPALITY OF WALES & To reader +60pp, collated complete with text continuous and signatures show no missing pages in spite of pagination jumps and some catchword faults. Neat ownership W L Smith on pastedown and ex libris of William Lambe 1670 on titlepage. Portrait and titlepage both cut down and mounted without loss of print, 3 marginal tears not affecting print, one corner repaired, 3 leaves with a few light pen trials to margin, a cancel to half a line on p169 Pt.3, else a very nice crisp copy. *A national biography of the British Isles by Counties in alphabetical order, full of fascinating information about people. Each county is described with its manufactures, wild life, architecture, proverbial sayings etc. A handsomely bound copy of this first edition and an interesting read (Wing F2440 first issue - without "for Thomas Williams" in imprint - see too ESTC R6196).
