Octavo contemporary calf badly damaged (front cover detached, spine on 6 cords with leather mostly lacking but bookblock tight) xii +12 +502pp +[2]pp table of contents. The 12pp after the Preface are an abridged version of Daniel Defoes "Relation of the Apparition of Mrs. Veal". Inscriptions on front endpaper & back of frontis (John Rastrigg 1761, Mary d. of James & Sarah Marchant born Nov 9th 1799, Wm Holman 1816). Minor signs of use but paper clean & sound, no tears, no damp-marks. Worth a rebind.
