Small quarto calf rebacked with old spine label laid on and recornered (one corner again worn). Titlepage in red & black + [12]pp prelims +66pp +[2]pp omitted earlier +144pp +143pp +103pp. Titlepage with professional repair to three corners & next page and last page with similar repairs. Second book with one page of old hand written notes interpolated. New endpapers but retaining a blank before the title and bookplate of Earls of Dacre. A few ink corrections and two ink spots but only about 6 pages are affected. A neat copy in original binding with later repairs.
